Part of the Wycliffe mission organization, Miguel and Laura Lopez have dedicated their lives to working in remote communities not yet permeated by the Gospel. Having found that people are often skeptical at first of their need for the Gospel, the Lopez' have discovered them to be more receptive when the Gospel is presented along side something they know they need: treated water, medical care, diet, and hygiene advice. The Lopezes leverage their gifts for evangelism and public dental health by providing instruction in both to the local dental care providers. As Miguel says, he loves to tell someone about the Gospel when his hands are working in their mouth; that way they have little choice but to listen!
