Since 1979, St. Andrew's has partnered with Pere Jean Monique Bruno, a Haitian Episcopalian priest, to bring the light and love of Jesus Christ to the people of Haiti, the poorest country in our hemisphere.

The St. Barthélémy School in northeastern Haiti, now with 800+ students soon expanding to include 12th grade, is a state of the art Montessori school that is totally solar powered. The children are taught in French and are using laptop computers. The school has given this community of 35,000 people in Terrier Rouge a sense of hope and pride, and the adult education literacy program is now in its fourth year.

Just $225 per year pre K through 6th grade or $275 per year for 7th-10th grade provides a uniform, healthcare, books and a hot meal daily for each student, that for many of the children will be the only meal they get. If you would like to support a new child or renew an existing scholarship, simply fill out the form below, or you may also turn in a check to the church office. New sponsors will receive family information with a picture of their child. 

Sponsorships can be made "One Time Only" and can be renewed manually every year or "Yearly" in which case your sponsorship will automatically renew each year. 

St. Andrew's supports Pere Bruno through Bethlehem Ministry, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization in the U.S. All gifts are fully tax-deductible and applied 100% to Pere Bruno's ministry to educate the indigent children of Haiti. Pere Bruno has started 6 schools in Haiti, with Ecole St. Barthélémy, a state-of-the-art, solar powered, Montessori school in Terrier Rouge.

Members of St. Andrew's currently support children in elementary and middle school with annual scholarships that pay for uniform, books, a daily hot meal, and teacher salaries.

St. Barthlemy is in the process of expansion to accommodate more children in Terrier Rouge in need of an education.
