Our Women's Ministries at St. Andrew's fall under the umbrella of The Presbyterian Women, a national women's group in all Presbyterian churches. Our purpose is to grow in our knowledge of Christ and our personal relationship with Him so that we may fulfill our Christian responsibilities in our family, our congregation, our community and throughout the world.
Officers of our Presbyterian Women for 2013 include: Margaret Caddy, Moderator; Patsy Yeager, Moderator ELect; Florine Carr, Treasurer; Sidair Boeker, Historian; Gayle Chapman, Secretary; Judy Bristol, Local and World Mission; Ann Migliore, Leadership and Nominating; Carolyn Blakley, Bereavement; Nancy Donaldson, Communications; Linda Ludwick, Older Children of God Coordinator; Charlene Kern, Special Projects; and Betty Smith, Flower Coordinator. Please contact any one of them for more information about our women's ministry.
All women of St. Andrew's, members and visitors, are invited to join us for any event. We have Bible studies, prayer groups, all kinds of programs and activities for all ages to enjoy. These groups, some of which we call "Circles" and others by their name, meet weekly or monthly during the fall and spring, some during the day and some in the evenings. About once a month we all get together for a fun trip or a service project. A few times a year we have a "women only" dinner and game night. Each summer in July we have a book study and craft project. We also offer a Beth Moore video series and study each summer.
Childcare is available for all events with a three-day advance reservation. Please contact our children's ministry director Kelly Lewis.
How does one join a small group, study or Circle? Please contact the leader of the group to let her know you plan to visit. To find out more about the Circles, studies, and other women's groups, see list below or contact Margaret Caddy.
The Council meets the first Thursday of each month September through May (except for December) at 10:30 a.m. in room 216 to conduct the business of the organization and plan activities.
All are invited, including men, to our special events and fellowship activities.
All women are invited to participate in one or more of the following weekly or monthly small groups for study and fellowship. Please call or email the contact person for more information about the group.

This group of committed prayer warriors is a group of women who have been meeting together for years and are committed not only to each other, but to working together for the community of faith through prayer. In lifting up the body of Christ in prayer, these women make a point to go through the church directory and pray for different members each week, throughout the week. Their prayers follow the ACTS model of prayer (hence their name), a model that encourages the believer to pray in: Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and Supplication.
A - Adoration: Proclaiming Who God is and the attributes of His character
C - Confession: Personal cleansing/ repentance, putting on Christ's nature
T - Thanksgiving: Praise offering, remembering the works of the Lord, meditation
S - Supplication: Asking, intercession, and petitioning according to His will
Anyone who has a passion for intercession is invited to join this group of women. For meeting dates, location, and time, please contact Ann Migliore or Beth Morgan.
