Everything we do with the youth at St. Andrew's, either relationally or programatically, is guided by our Mission Statement below:
In partnership with parents, St. Andrew’s Youth Ministry will prayerfully and energetically seek to:
· Promote a community of love and acceptance for one another
· Provide life guidance for youth
· Create a safe place for youth to be
· Encourage Godly influences on our youth
· Be a program that is fun and enjoyable
Ultimately, upon graduation, our youth will be compassionate, thoughtful believers, equipped Bible learners, and honest people, boldly relying on Jesus and having a strong desire for Christian community wherever they go. And knowing they are dearly beloved and gifted children of God, they joyfully embrace God’s calling to serve the least, the lost, and the lonely.
Separate classes available for high schoolers and middle schoolers with age-appropriate curriculum. Beginning Sunday, September 5, 2010, Sunday School for youth will begin at 11 am, due to the switch in Sunday schedule for worship.
You want fellowship... We've got fellowship; although we prefer the term "friendship." And that is what Fridays are all about at St. Andrew's. Every Friday, 7:30-10, is a fun, friendship filled time up in the youth room. Ping-pong, foosball, two-on-two nerf attack, crafts, great conversations, and almost anything you suggest!
Parents - please complete permission slip (see bottom of this webpage) for your child to participate - a signed slip is good for the year.
This Wednesday Bible Study is an active learning, super time, led by awesome loving leaders. Middle schoolers explore the depths of all wisdom and thought. Snacks, too! 7pm til 8pm at the Smith's home.
This Bible Study works to provide a place for high school youth to think and discuss what they want to from Scripture. We meet up in the Youth Room every Wednesday 7pm til 8:30 pm. Thehe first 30 minutes are usually hangout minutes.
