| This all-day event is an exciting opportunity
to get acquainted with the local ministries supported by St. Andrew's, allowing us to get a better idea of what they do, and to let people know how they can personally get involved with one or more ministries that tug at their heart.
Some people will be participating in identified projects at the ministry they choose, and others will be visiting to learn about the ministry and how individuals can be more involved. There are now sign up sheets in the Gathering Area to allow people to indicate which ministry they would like to experience.
On April 26, the day will begin at 7:30am in the Family Center with breakfast provided by the Saturday Morning Men's Fellowship. People will sit together according to ministry interest, and a team captain will sit with each group to discuss goals for the visit, arrange carpools and plan other arrangements over breakfast. The various ministry teams will then leave for their ministry.
Most teams and participants will return to the church for lunch beginning at noon. At lunch, we'll have each team share their experience and share how others in the church can further support that ministry, continuing to be involved in the future.
It's our hope that this day of learning and service will ignite the hearts of many in our church family and open their eyes to the vision of one of these local ministries in a new way. We hope that they will then keep the ministry in their prayers and get involved with the ministry in whatever way God leads them.
