Announcing... a new opportunity to help our neighbors in need. The Christian Community Service Center (CCSC) is opening a food pantry in Sharpstown at Gethsemane United Methodist Church. A grant of $50,000 will match dollar for dollar any food that is donated this year. All food donations given here at St. Andrew's through December will go to this new food pantry and be matched!
CCSC’s Back To School program helps thousands of children receive school supplies and a uniform for the school year. It takes over 700 volunteers to make the program a success so join us and let's help these students begin the year off right. Volunteer opportunities are available at the below times and locations. A sign up table will be in the Gathering Area through the end of July.
It costs the CCSC $45/child for the school supplies and uniform. Donations are welcome to help offset these costs and can be made in the Gathering Area through the end of July or by check at the address below.
